Meet the Founder

Dr. Kamyab Ghatan
MD, CIC | Founder & National IPAC Consultant
Kamyab Ghatan is a National Infection Prevention and Control Consultant and the President of Infection Shield Consulting in the Greater Toronto Area. He is an alumnus of Windsor University School of Medicine, where he earned his Medical Doctor degree, and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Neuroscience, Biology, and Psychology from the University of Toronto.
His passion for medicine led him to dedicate his career to infection prevention and control. Kamyab finds his greatest motivation in helping people gain the knowledge and awareness needed to stop the spread of infectious diseases. He is driven by a single purpose: to save lives and reduce the preventable infections that raise morbidity and mortality in our communities.
